BestHealth Podcast - Local Research Studies to Help Combat COVID-19
Researchers at Wake Forest Baptist Health are partnering with patients to better understand the spread of COVID-19. Dr. Allison Mathews with the Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity visits with the BestHealth Podcast team to discuss some of the COVID-19 research that is taking place locally, what the purpose of the research studies are, what is involved in participating in a research study, and why community collaboration and inclusiveness is key to the success of said studies.
