In his first season in Winston-Salem, Carolina Thunderbirds Head Coach Steve Harrison guided the club to the second best start in franchise history at 14-3. The 2018-19 team started 14-1. Now, the real fun begins.

The division-leading Thunderbirds are on a quest to earn their first FPHL title since 2019 and the approach Harrison is taking in leading his players includes all of the ingredients necessary to bring a championship back to the Triad. The question becomes, can the recipe become perfected enough over the course of the season?
