Triad Sports 1on1 - Timmy Newsome, WSSU Rams & Dallas Cowboys
Timmy Newsome starred on the football field for Winston-Salem State University during the late 1970's and with the Dallas Cowboys during the 1980's. Today, his achievements are shining even brighter away from football. For the second consecutive year, Newsome has been nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame. The voting runs through early July, with an announcement of the 2021 class to come early next year. Listen as Newsome dives deep into his own personal archives of his experiences in Winston-Salem, and how those moments helped define the man he'd become today.
