Zero Dark Nerdy - Resident Evil Review with Popcorn Podcast

Brian and Jordan are honored to join Tim Iffland, co-host of their all-time favorite movie expert show: Popcorn Podcast (shoutout Australia!). During this part one of their chat, Tim, Brian and Jordan give their thoughts on Zach Cregger’s film adaptation of Resident Evil, the iconic horror video game franchise.

If you’re weary of movie adaptations and wondering if this is something you want to head to the theaters for, we feel you…but trust us: this one is TRULY different. You go for the blood and guts and leave with a sore belly from the amount of genius comedic timing in this thing...

Is it a story pulled directly from the narrative of the games? No. Does it ride on the coattails of the Umbrella Corporation through and through? No…but is it passionately true to the experience of being a gamer and a horror fan…or just a regular dude trying his best…Absolutely.
